Reg Murphy - The Great Wall of China

I focused on the representation of the Great Wall to the Chinese people. The iconic value of the wall for the Chinese should encourage students and teachers to seek out our own symbols that embody the American culture.

Religious Items



For this Simple Digital History project I digitized some religious relics that my grandmother had given me over the years. The religious pieces I compiled included a rosary, two prayer cards, a newspaper clipping

with a prayer to St. Jude and a scapular.

Hurricane Floyd

In September of 1999 Hurricane Floyd came crashing along the Atlantic coastline leaving behind a wake of destruction. This soundscape represents the North Carolina coast and its transitions during the hurricane.
