Jonathan - I enjoyed your soundscape too - much more of one than mine that included a verbal narrative - i got a kick out of trying to figure out what was going on by the sound - seemed to be first the flooding, then the aftermath of quiet solitude, and then the slogging through, searching for the soggy remains of whatever. verrrry effective.

Charley Norkus said…Okay, I'm intrigued - John Bell and the Native American - what was Bell's slant that would have been known by a cartoonist (and hence the public at that time in general)? What a complex cartoon! Don't our politicians do the same thing today - take an event and attempt to politicize it to their own advantage and to the disadvantage of their opponent(s)? Politics as usual.
